Metro Vancouverites might want to enjoy the sun on Friday, because this is likely the last time the sky will be clear for a week.
Rain is in the forecast all three days of the Victoria Day long weekend, and into next week as well.
On Saturday, Environment Canada’s Vancouver forecast is calling for a high of 18°C and a 60% chance of showers. Temperatures will dip from there, with a high of 14°C forecast for Monday. The rain is also expected to come down harder on Sunday and Monday.
The forecast is about the same in the Fraser Valley, with cool highs and rain predicted.
This is the first weekend that some of BC’s provincial parks are open again after being closed for weeks because of the pandemic, but those hoping to get a hike in may have to wait until later.
