The endless Vancouver rain isn’t exactly what you’d associate with bright whimsical colours, but one mobile art installation is hoping to change how you feel about spring showers.

Canada Goose celebrates spring showers with this rain-activated art installation located outside CF Pacific Centre in downtown Vancouver.

The travelling installation, which runs in Vancouver until Thursday, April 25, features raindrop-shaped sculptures coated in reactive paint, which transform to reveal whimsical colours and patterns when they come into contact with water.

The beautiful installation serves as a great colourful photo-op even in all these dreary Vancouver downpours.

An automatic water sprinkler system has been carefully integrated to ensure a fulsome experience for all guests, rain or shine, so if the sun is out — it won’t rain on your parade.

As part of its “Dry Anywhere” campaign, the installation will be visiting seven cities worldwide, including London, Milan, Beijing, Hong Kong, Paris and New York.

If you want the chance to liven up your Instagram with some colourful raindrops, you’re going to have to act fast — the installation is only outside the mall for three more days.
