Q Shi Q: New Japanese BBQ spot opening in Olympic Village

Dec 20 2017, 2:09 am

Q Shi Q will open up its doors early next week in Olympic Village, offering visitors a fresh take on casual Japanese cuisine.

Taking its name from Ku-shi, the Japanese word for skewer, Q Shi Q will serve authentic and flavourful Yakiniku, which translates to grilled meat.

Not surprisingly, it’s all about the grill at this 30-seat eatery. Supporting a farm-to-table philosophy, cooking with meats from local farms and Ocean Wise seafood, the menu will offer a variety of chicken, pork, beef, seafood, and veggie skewers, which will be available in an array of homemade marinades and seasonings.

Japanese salads, sides and specials will also be on offer, and will include a kale gomaae salad, savoury garlic rice, Japanese pickles, Karaage chicken, 48 hour pork belly skewers, and many more enticing options.

Watch Q Shi Q’s social media pages for details on opening day.
