Punk Rock Riot at The Rail Club tears it up on January 16

On Saturday, January 16, Vancouver DIY record label Not Yer Buddy presents their quarterly punk rock series, Punk Rock Riot. Held at longstanding music spot the Railway Club, which has made headlines recently after it was put up for sale, the concert is in its second year and features six local punk bands on the bill.

Hardcore trashers Legion of Goons are amongst the bands performing at the Punk Rock Riot, as are the Binz who recently released their latest EP Get Sauced With… the Binz — a fiery, six song compilation accompanied by a bottle of Jung & Walker hot sauce. Chilliwack-based pop punks the Schatzis, who dropped their latest effort Tone Improvement in May 2015, will be playing, too; along with East Vancouver’s Psychonauts, the Salvos, and Paranoi, a newly founded group that released their heavy hitting demo in November.

The Schatzis, the Binz, and the Salvos are all featured on Not Yer Buddy’s newest and fifth compilation album, which features 31 tracks from 31 bands the label hosted in 2015.
