I was in denial for a while but with the bounty of fall ahead of us, can now admit that summer is officially over. The quintessential activity that brings together family, the outdoors and seasonal fun is a visit to your local pumpkin patch. For those of you living in Vancouver, it’s going to be a bit of a drive but you will find the experience more fun and memorable than going to your nearest grocer and making a quick purchase. Many patches will have different attractions for guests as well including corn mazes, farm animals, vegetable gardens and tractor rides. Don’t forget to bring your camera because the landscape and vibrant colours is perfect for photos opps! Below are 5 pumpkin patches in different cities. Some charge a nominal admission fee ($1-$3).
