Vancouver’s Park Board is holding a public consultation this weekend on how they can improve the city’s beaches and pools.
The consultation will be taking place at Kitsilano Pool from 11 am to 2 pm and is completely open to the public. Attendees will be able to chat with Park Board staff to learn more about Vancouver’s beaches and pools and to discuss their future.
Plus there will be freezies, music, games, and “prime selfie spots,” as the Facebook event page says.
The Parks Board is exploring options for new indoor and outdoor facilities as part of a 10-year aquatics strategy.
Another consultation will take place on Sunday at New Brighton Pool as well.
When: Saturday, July 23; 11 am to 2 pm
Where: Kitsilano Pool – 2305 Cornwall Avenue, Vancouver
