What protests to defund police looked like across Canada this weekend (VIDEOS)

From Halifax to Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, and more, Canadian cities saw nationwide protests to defund the police this weekend.

While some altercations and vandalism was reported, the protests have been largely peaceful, as people come together to advocate for reform, justice, and safer communities for all.

Organized by Black and Indigenous advocates, we’re rounded up a few photos of the events to see what they looked like throughout the country.
