Who said that real estate in Vancouver wasn’t affordable?

If you’ve been searching for a renovation project to take on and if you have a cool $70,000 to spend, this real estate listing might be for you.

A private storage room located at Westbank’s Vancouver House has been listed for sale at $69,900.

“Located in the gated residential underground parkade, this rare cellar storage is over 200 sqft and is ready for your personal touches,” reads a posting on Realtor.

The space is equipped with running water and electricity and the realtor says that it’s “the perfect place to store a wine collection, seasonal wardrobe, tools, luggage, and any other items.”

And while you’ll need to arrange and pay for any renovation or customization yourself, the listing comes with some artistic renderings for inspiration.

The only catch, according to Realtor, is that you need to own your own home and, somehow, that’s a much harder requirement than the price tag.
