Lamb Island is two hours away from downtown Vancouver and just 20 minutes from the town of Sechelt by car and boat.

According to the listing by realtor Jay McInnes, there is an asking price of $3.999 million – a price tag that is significantly less than some of Metro Vancouver’s most upscale real estate. There are Point Grey beachside tear downs that cost much more than this.

With 500 feet of shoreline and everything that comes with the transaction, it is arguably an amazing deal even by local standards.

There is a 2,365 square foot, multi-level main house designed with an west coast contemporary concept. It features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and over 2,200 square feet of open patio space and gardens. A large hot tub with breathtaking views of both the inlet and neighbouring islands sits just outside, coupled with outdoor dining and seating areas.

But does this come with a huge property tax bill? If you call $5,500 a lot, then yes.
