Prime Minister's Office announces new province: 'British Colombia'
Some jarring typos on the media passes issued by the Prime Minister’s Office for an event in Vancouver yesterday are making rounds on social media.
The media passes misspelled British Columbia as “British Colombia” – with an extra “o.” In addition to the spelling gaffe, there were missing apostrophes in the text.
Whoops.
Prime Minister Stephen Harper was in Vancouver yesterday to announce major eligibility changes to the Canada student loan program.
OOPS! Ah, @pmharper, the province you are visiting today is spelled with a “U” as in Col-U-mbia. #cbc #cdnpoli pic.twitter.com/fJqXgs18OQ
