Win VIP tickets to celebrate Pride at Vancouver Aquarium's After Hours (CONTEST)

This Pride season, you’ve got the chance to celebrate like never before at Vancouver Aquarium’s special After Hours event.

From 7 pm on Thursday, August 1 the Aquarium will be transforming into a flamboyant kids-free zone where you can grab a drink and watch some fabulous drag performances after dark.

Prepare to open your mind as you learn about the fascinating sex lives of animals at the Aquarium. Take in high-energy drag performances from some of BC’s best drag queens including Sienna Blaze, Raye Sunshine, and Kendall Gender.

Vancouver Aquarium has partnered up with Vancouver Pride Society for this year’s After Hours event so you can expect it to be the best one yet. We don’t want you to miss out on any of the fun, so we’re giving away two free VIP tickets to the event!

Leave the kids with a sitter to let loose as you make your way through the Aquarium’s galleries with a drink in hand. If you win the contest below, you’ll get a free drink as well as a special Pride welcome cocktail, but food and drinks (beer and wine) will also be available for purchase on the night.

No Pride party would be complete without amazing music, that’s why DJ Jontin and DJ Krista will be spinning your favourite hits all night long, giving you every reason to dance and sing along. Get hands-on in the Wet Lab and hold a sea star, or catch the Aquarium’s new 4-D movie, A Reef Reborn 4-D.

It’s not every day that you get to learn about coral sex, otter love, and what positions a shark prefers during talks led by experts at Vancouver Aquarium. The only thing you need to remember to bring with you (aside from your fabulous self) is your ID.

Tickets to celebrate Pride at Vancouver Aquarium’s After Hours are on sale now costing $30 for members and $38 for non-members via vanaqua.org/after-hours. But you could be attending the event for free simply by entering the contest below.
