Parishioners have expressed their disappointment after a Pride flag in front of their church was vandalized.
The Ladner United Church in Delta made the discovery earlier this morning when they found the flag in front of their building had been defaced by black spray paint.

It’s believed that the act was intentional and done overnight.
“As a faith community which is committed to living out the love of Christ in real and practical ways in our community, we will not be discouraged or distracted from the message of inclusion, acceptance, and affirmation we make through flying this flag,” says the church in a Facebook post.
The Ladner United Church says that they’ll be reporting this incident to the Delta Police Department and that the flag will be replaced shortly.
