Some games in the NHL are inevitably dry, where neither team really looks like they’re trying to get themselves two points. Then there’s a Canucks vs. Predators game, which will suck the life out of you.
Game Preview
The last time these two once-playoff-opponents went head to head, the “Dutch Gretzky” Dale Weise scored the lone goal in a game where shots were unreasonably low.
For tonight’s matchup, the Canucks may find some puck luck against the continuously low-scoring Preds (who are at 2.2 goals per game). Not that the Vancouver squad is on a roll or anything, since they were only able to drum up one goal in regulation against Columbus.
In other news, Steve Pinizzotto was called up to Vancouver from the Wolves today, but as per @DanMurphy and @PITB’s exchange today, it looks like its a game time decision for the still-to-be-debuted journeyman forward.
