As Vancouver’s high end retail scene continues to evolve, one can’t help but think there are still quite a few notable names missing. Prada, the high end Italian fashion label, is one such name that has eluded the Vancouver market for quite some time. However, that all may change as big changes are about to take place at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver.

The Louis Vuitton expansion is the first in a series of changes coming to the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. Snowflake is in the process of vacating it’s current location as is St. John. However, St. John will remain in the hotel Vancouver in a smaller retail space. The space that is being vacated by St. John is where the rumoured Prada store is will be.

Furthermore, Gucci is looking to expand to a second floor as well another rumour out there is that Chanel wants to open up a shop at the Hotel Vancouver as well.
