The Templeton is a retro diner located on Granville street. The Templeton serves up a slew of organic and delicious food, including great milkshakes and great vegetarian poutine.
The poutine here is rather non traditional with house chipped fries, aged white cheddar and mushroom gravy. Since it’s shredded aged cheddar, it melts immediately with the hot gravy, making the poutine extra gooey.
The mushroom gravy is lighter than the traditional dark gravy but it works just fine with the aged cheddar.
An order of poutine is $7, but you can also upgrade your fries from burger entrees for an extra $2.
