Potters House of Horrors in Surrey

Every day the Vancity Buzz administrative team is inundated with e-mails regarding a lack of suburban profile on this site. So today I bring you Surrey’s foray into the ghostly holiday of Halloween the Potters House of Horrors. This year is expected to be bigger than ever, as stated on their website:

Potters House of Horrors is better than ever with an amazing line up for 2008! Our walk-thru Halloween attraction is jam packed with computer-controlled animatronics, terrifying live actors and a sound system that will blow your mind. This year’s event is even more intense with the addition of The Pumpkin King, a 17′ tall monster who’s not at all happy to see you and Tom and jerry, the not-so-friendly pack of vicious wolves you won’t see coming. We’ve added more long, dark and twisty hallways and 5 new rooms including the ‘Vortex”. Be prepared.

I for one am excited to see this as many have told me it is down right freaky at times, even better than some of the houses and Fright Night. To accommodate the wee ones this year they will be open from 6pm to 7pm for a walk through without live actors. This is a good thing for you fraidy cats out there. At 7pm the real action begins and be prepared to be terrified.
