Pop-Up Restaurant: Summer of Love

Dec 19 2017, 5:49 am

Swallow Tail Supper Club has put a summer twist on their latest culinary adventure with Summer Love – a Persian picnic in the park. And while this ethnic angle is new and refreshing, guests were still able to enjoy a few of the true and tried Swalow Tail traits to leave their trademark touch. In usual fashion, the secret meeting location was revealed to guests after booking. This time, we were encouraged to BYOBlanket and meet at Robson Park.

There we were served appetizers which were a herb and feta filled roll, that started off the evening. We were then instructed to follow the music into the mystery venue. Just a short walk away, we entered Che Babe Cantina & Yoga Studio where we learned more about guest Chef Mahin, freshly back from a trip to Mecca and full of inspiration that featured spices, flowers and sweets. If I had a Persian grandmother, she’s exactly how I would picture her to be. Sweet and charming yet authoritative when it comes to cooking – we were in good hands for the night.
