Pop-up 'Heartmelt Motel' coming to Metro Vancouver is an Instagram wonderland

Your next Instagram post is about to get a lot of likes.

“Heartmelt Motel” is a pop-up exhibit taking over a Surrey mall as part of a Canadian tour that will see the photo op wonderland installed temporarily in malls in four provinces.

Exhibit organizers describe it as a larger-than-life Instagram wonderland.

“Heartmelt Motel is more than a pop-up – it’s an experience,” says Kyla Way, Marketing Director.

“We wanted to create a space that was unforgettable for our guests and allowed them to dream, explore and revel in possibility. Our hope is that they’ll share this experience with their friends and family and encourage the feeling of curiosity and playfulness Heartmelt Motel stands for.”

As for the theme, think 1970s California summer and retro-motel.

There are five unique “motel rooms” in the exhibit, each containing an immersive and interactive space for you to explore.

No creative pop-up is complete without a gummy ball pool for visitors to jump into.
