It’s finally here. Vancouver’s very own Daniel Kim is back at it again with another incredible seamless and coherent single-track mashup of this year’s top hit songs.

Every year since 2010, Kim has been putting together his year-in-review mix – an annual track that now has a massive global following and attains tens of millions of YouTube views each year.

Last year’s mashup clocked 28-million views and was highly acclaimed with 303,000 thumbs ups and only 5,600 thumbs downs.

This year’s mix involved the use of 66 songs lasting just over six minutes in duration. Kim says the project is a massive undertaking that begins in September of each year and takes about 180 hours to complete. It is a process that starts with gathering 200 audio files and organizing it all by their tempo and key.
