Police warn public of violent offender with history against women

The Vancouver Police Department has issued a warning to the public of a violent offender with a history of offences against women.

36-year-old Patrick Henry is considered a high risk to re-offend violently against women and particularly against women he becomes intimately involved with.

While Henry is not currently living in Vancouver, he is known to frequent the Downtown Eastside. He also is believed to be using online dating sites to communicate and meet with women.

Henry is Aboriginal, 5’6″ tall, 181 lbs., with dark brown hair and brown eyes. He is currently on probation for domestic assault and bound by a number of court ordered conditions that include:

  • Not to possess knives except for the purpose of preparing or consuming food
  • Not to consume alcohol or non-prescription drugs
  • Not to be found in any place that is licensed to serve alcohol

Anyone who finds Patrick Henry violating of any of his conditions is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
