Police investigating suspicious death of 29-year-old man in Vancouver's West End

Police are investigating what they’re calling a “suspicious death” in Vancouver’s West End.

Officers were called to the area of Pendrell Street and Thurlow Street on Tuesday evening, just after 8 pm. A police report explains that there was “an incident that left a man with life-threatening injuries.”

There are little details as to the nature of the incident and what prompted the 29-year-old’s injuries.

The victim, a Vancouver resident, was rushed to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries.

Police say that no arrests have been made and that this is believed to be an isolated incident with no risk to the public.
