Police officer allegedly assaulted at "out-of-control" house party in Pitt Meadows
Police say that an officer was assaulted and several arrests were made after a chaotic house party that took place over the weekend.
Ridge Meadows RCMP tweeted about a large police presence being called to the 19200 blocks of Fieldstone Walk, in Pitt Meadows, in response to an “out-of-control” house party on Saturday night.
A spokesperson for the Ridge Meadows RCMP says that there were around 200 teens in attendance.
One officer was allegedly assaulted in the process and sustained minor injuries, although it’s unknown how many teens were involved in the assault.
Police also note that multiple arrests were made on-site.
RCMP notes that multiple arrests were also made.
Last night there was a large police presence at 19200 block of Fieldstone Walk, due to an out of control house party. A large number of intoxicated youths were refusing to leave the residence and P.O’s in removing the youths. One P.O was assaulted and arrests were made.
