DH Vancouver Staff May 29, 2014 12:33 pm

Ridge Meadows RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating 13-year-old Alexis Plavan. The young teenager has not been seen, or heard from, since 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday May 28, 2014.

Police are concerned for Alexis’ well being, and need to know that she is safe. said Corporal Alanna Dunlop. We are encouraging Alexis to either call your parents, or Ridge Meadows RCMP. Investigators are genuinely concerned over her sudden disappearance from the family home. This includes the fact she has not contacted any of her close friends, leaving police with few leads to follow up on.

Alexis is described as a white female, 13 years old. She is 5 foot 8 inches tall, and weighs approximately 200 pounds, with long brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black T-Shirt, with ‘Black Veil Brides’ on the front; black baggy pants; black military style boots; and a black baseball hat with a ‘Monkee’ logo. She wears wire framed glasses, and a wrist watch with a blue strap.

Anyone with any information regarding Alexis Plavan’s whereabouts is asked to call Ridge Meadows RCMP at 604-463-6251, or 9-1-1 for the police in the area she is currently staying at.
