Police investigate fatal shooting in North Delta

Delta Police were called to the scene of a fatal shooting on Friday night, the first homicide in Metro Vancouver in 2015.

The incident occurred at a residence in the 11800 block of 75A Avenue in North Delta at approximately 8:20 p.m.

Police have stated that there are limited details at this time although the shooting appears to be a targeted and the public is not at risk. The identity of the victim has not been released and there are no suspect details.

Delta Police Major Crimes and Forensic Investigators are conducting the investigation. Anyone who has information that may help investigators is asked to call the Delta Police Department at 604-946-4411.
