Two schools in Surrey were under lockdown this afternoon.

Surrey RCMP received an “unsubstantiated report of a violent domestic incident,” by BC Ambulance Service. The Integrated Emergency Response Team along with patrol officers responded to the scene within minutes, at 14600 block at 17A Ave.

Public mischief has a maximum sentence of five years in jail, and a fined of up to $5,000.

police left the area at 1:05 p.m.

Anyone with information on the incident is urged to call Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
