[UPDATED] Police investigate death at Spanish Banks this morning

Updated 11/7 1:55 pm – Vancouver Police have determined the death of a woman found in medical distress November 3 at Spanish Banks is not suspicious in nature.

Vancouver Police are investigating the death of a woman at Spanish Banks this morning.

According to a press release issued by the VPD, the woman was found in medical distress at around 7:30 am near the concession area of Spanish Banks.

She was rushed to hospital but died a short time later.

Detectives from VPD’s Major Crime Section have been assigned to assist with the investigation to determine if the death is suspicious.

Police are asking anyone in the area of Spanish Banks this morning who noticed anything suspicious to call 604-717-2500.
