PNE and BCLC offering chance to win concert tickets in new contest

Visitors to the PNE Fair this summer can see the real-time progress of the new Freedom Mobile Arch, and those excited to get a look inside are in luck thanks to the newly announced partner BC Lottery Corporation (BCLC).
The PNE and BCLC are teaming up for the Greater Good Concert Experience Contest, happening now until the last day of the fair on Monday, Sept. 1.
BCLC will specifically sponsor the outdoor concert and performance venue’s open-
air lawn viewing area, called the BCLC Backyard, which aims to bring people
together through shared moments of human connection.
Fairgoers can enter to win a huge prize pack of tickets to check out some amazing concerts in 2026.

Entry for the Greater Good Concert Experience is done online, and the prize includes
10 tickets for you and your friends to the inaugural event at the Freedom Mobile
Arch. The winner also receives 10 BCLC Backyard section tickets to a 2026 PNE Fair
Summer Night Concert of their choice.
“The PNE is proud to welcome BCLC’s partnership supporting this important music and cultural venue,” said Shelley Frost, president and CEO of the PNE, in a statement.
“We recognize and share BCLC’s commitment to promoting moments for human connection and are dedicated to partnering on programs that will foster lasting memories at the many music and cultural events that will occur at the Arch.”
The Greater Good Concert Experience prize also includes the opportunity to gift 10 BCLC Backyard section tickets to a 2026 PNE Fair Summer Night Concert to a B.C. charity of the winner’s choice.
The contest closes on Monday, Sept. 1, at 11 p.m. PDT. More information can be found online, including the official contest rules and regulations, as well as the list of eligible B.C. charities.

Construction on the purpose-built venue at the fairgrounds in Vancouver’s Hastings Park has now passed the halfway mark in its construction timeline, with major progress on the landmark mass-timber roof structure now highly apparent.
As part of the partnership, the BCLC Backyard area will be part of the BCLC Community Ticketing Program, which offers a select number of free tickets to non-profit organizations for events.
“Together with our friends at the PNE, we’re excited to create a BCLC Backyard experience that’s fun and entertaining for British Columbians, and that fosters connection with each other, our communities and our province,” said Natasha Questel, chief social purpose officer and vice president of marketing for BCLC.
