Fright Nights, Western Canada’s scariest haunt, has announced its return to Vancouver for the Halloween season.

The annual attraction will be returning to Playland on select nights, starting on October 4 and running right through to Halloween night. Visitors can expect eight haunted houses, live shows and performances, and 20 rides. Playland’s newest haunted house, “The Bloodshed,” will also be making a return.

As far as food and beverages go, expect all of Playland’s beloved offerings, as well as several pumpkin spice-themed options, including pumpkin spice mini donuts, kettle corn, and candy floss.

The park’s Tipsy Unicorn drink, which was notoriously popular during Playland Nights and the Fair at the PNE, will also be making a return.

Keep in mind though, only a limited number of tickets will be sold for each night.

“Due to the overwhelming demand and to ensure a quality guest experience, Fright Nights is putting a cap on the number of tickets sold per day,” says Playland in an email. “Tickets must be purchased for a specific date [and] event nights have limited availability.”

Ticket buyers will also have the option to purchase a Rapid Pass, which offers expedited lines for park entry, haunted houses, and several rides (The Beast, Wooden Roller Coaster, Music Express, AtmosFEAR, and Hellevator).

Fright Nights is not recommended for children 12 and under, guests 65 and older, guests with sensitivity to strobe lighting, guests with high blood pressure and/or heart conditions, and those who are pregnant. Remember that no guest costumes or face makeup are allowed.

So… are you ready to face your fears?
