A sure sign that spring is here and summer is right around the corner, Playland at the PNE will open its gates for another season of family-friendly entertainment in less than two weeks. This year Playland is introducing two new rides that will send guests spinning and soaring: the Teacups and the Balloon Explorers.
Get the whole family together and go for a spin in the Teacups! Parents will remember this classic ride from their childhood and kids will have a blast whirling and twirling as they spin their teacup as fast as they can go! Then soar to new heights on the new Balloon Explorers, a hot air balloon ride that’s sure to be enjoyable for both children and parents. The Balloon Explorers will take guests 42 feet high while slowly spinning 360° for a full view of the Playland park.
With over 30 rides and attractions Playland has something to offer guests of all ages. Thrill-seekers will love the hair-raising rides including Atmosphere, Hellevator and the iconic 1958 Wooden Roller Coaster. More fun can be had at the Midway, the Climbing Wall, Pacific Adventure Gold, The Glass House and the Haunted Mansion. (Additional charges apply for the Haunted Mansion and Pacific Adventure Golf)
