Picatic, a ticketing platform in the world of event management and digital ticketing, is launching their new freemium business model for event planners.

Event planners no longer have to absorb service fees or pass them along to attendees and hope they won’t mind the markups when they go to purchase. The service provides ultimate freedom when planning an event and now includes the option for Pro users to upgrade to a fixed price premium service.

Previously known for their FairPay (pay what you want) business model, Picatic now provides consumers with a clear distinction between their Basic and Pro payment options allowing consumers to move from freemium to premium in a more efficient manner. This new business model completely eliminates the pressure to pay a dividend when using the basic features option, making it possible for users to maximize profit.

“We want to be an advocate for the ticket buyer and the event planner. We want to empower buyers, empower organizers and bring people together,” said Jayesh Parmar, CEO of Picatic. “Our solution is simple to use for both parties so the focus can be on delivering an event that creates memories and inspires culture.”

With more than 8,000 events enjoyed thus far, the company is giving people everywhere the opportunity to create memories through events that often don’t seem possible when doing business with other big-business ticket retailers.
