20 photos of the SeaWheeze half marathon and Sunset Festival (PHOTOS)

Around 10,016 runners crossed the finish line for lululemon’s SeaWheeze Half Marathon over the weekend. More than 70 per cent of them were from out of town, including the United States (45 per cent), as well as across Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Switzerland, Germany, United Arab Emirates, Austria, Italy, Ireland, Qatar, France, Chile, Guam, and Finland.

Right after the event, the Sunset Festival in Brockton Oval attracted around 15,000 people for a night of live music, yoga, and food vendors.

Yesterday in Vancouver, it was #SeaWheeze day. Imagine breathing in that sweet salty air, knowing there is waffles, yoga and a party waiting for you at the finish line. It’s truly a runner’s wonderland.

From the run yesterday. I have no sweet clue how to take a selfie, but hanging out with drag queens in the west end in the early morning in 2015 has such a different meaning for me in 2015 than it would have in 1995.
