Photographer charged for alleged hit-and-run on Ryan Reynolds to appear in court today

There will be a court appearance this afternoon for a local paparazzo accused of hitting actor Ryan Reynolds with his car.

Rik Fedyck is set to appear in Vancouver Provincial court, charged with criminal harassment, assault with a weapon, and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

The celebrity photographer from Richmond allegedly hit Reynolds in the parking lot of the Shangri-La, while Reynolds was in Vancouver filming the movie Deadpool.

Police have said there was some sort of confrontation between the photographer and the Vancouver actor prior to the incident.
