Phat Yaletown Sports Lounge has quietly closed its doors to rebrand

If you’ve been looking to head to Yaletown’s favourite neighbourhood sports bar recently you may have seen its windows papered up.
While this is typically a sign that a business has permanently shuttered, that’s not the case for Phat Yaletown.

The 1055 Mainland Street bar known for its brews, pub fare, and TVs perfect for watching televised sporting events has only temporarily closed.
Phat’s website says the business will be re-opening in spring 2019 with a new look, a new name, but will operate under the same ownership.
