PETA stages 'human dish' protest at Granville and Georgia

Dec 19 2017, 6:45 pm

PETA staged an anti-meat protest at the corner of Granville and West Georgia Streets in downtown Vancouver today.

Passersby in the morning turned their heads as they saw a near-naked woman lying on a larger-than-life-size plate with the words, “Try to relate to who’s on your plate. GO VEGAN.” Barbecue sauce was drizzled across the plate and on the woman’s body.

Many stopped to take photos of the stunt, which was meant to persuade people to stop eating meat.
