Person airlifted to hospital after reportedly falling off a Maple Ridge balcony

An individual is in the hospital after reportedly falling from a balcony in Maple Ridge.
BC Emergency Health Services (BC EHS) told Daily Hive they received a call at 11 pm on Thursday night.
Emergency units were dispatched to the area of 238 Street, where one patient was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition.
Ridge Meadows RCMP reported on Twitter that they assisted EHS with the ambulance call.
Details are scarce, but police say that the incident is “non-criminal and not work-place related” and that no other police-involved details will be released.
