Pen & Paper Apparel presents AXIS 2011ft. SummerBreeze, Victor Kim, Passion, Leejay & Kristie Yung

Pen & Paper Apparel are proud to present YouTube sensations Summerbreeze, Victor Kim, Passion, Leejay and Kristie Yung live in concert for ‘AXIS 2011’ on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the Vancouver Playhouse Theatre. This evening of music features each artist performing a selection of their own personal favourites with a mixture of covers and original compositions.

Victor Kim is an artist who rose to mainstream fame as a member of Quest Crew, which won Season 3 of America’s Best Dance Crew, ABDC, on MTV in the US. He is a true performing arts talent whose dancing prowess is rivaled by his musical ability.

Jeremy “Passion” Manongdo is a prominent independent artist with over 20 million YouTube views. The aptly named Passion is a dedicated musician who performs for audiences of all sizes around the world. Leejay Abucayan is a multi-faceted artist who hails from Sacramento, California. He is best known as a vocal percussionist, or beatboxer, who was crowned the Austrian beatbox champion of 2003.

Summerbreeze is a San Francisco based YouTube personality. An acoustic guitar player for the group
Legaci (Justin Beiber’s backup singers), Summerbreeze was featured on myxTV.

Kristie Yung is an acoustic-soul singer and songwriter born and raised in Vancouver. She is a contributing member of the local social media scene. Kristie Yung will perform on stage together with Saba Nazarian.

Vancouver-based musicians Raiel, Lou Papa and Monica Ponce open the show along with local pop star Emmalyn Estrada. Emmalyn Estrada was the winner of the 2009 Beat Music Awards present by The Beat 94.5. Her hit single “Get Down” was listed in the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 for several weeks in 2009.
