New record: 180,000 people turn out for Pemberton Festival 2016

It seems wet weather won’t stop mad music fans.

Pemberton Music Festival broke new records this year as 180,000 fans took to the festival ground over the course of four days to hear some world-class tunes performed live.

Around 45,000 people passed through the festival gates every day from Thursday to Sunday to watch performances by Kaskade, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, and The Killers.

Initial predictions said 100,000 people would attend the festival, but those numbers nearly doubled, possibly due in part to Squamish Valley Music Festival’s demise.

Did you miss it this year? Well, lucky for you, we were there to catch all the action. Check out our photo roundups from day one, two and three.
