A girl was struck by a truck just before noon today on Broadway near Heather Street in Vancouver.

A witness told Vancity Buzz the girl may have been running for the bus and had crossed the street during a green light.

At this time, the extent of her injuries are not known.

UPDATE at 1:10 p.m. – Constable Brian Montague says the women’s injuries are minor. Police are following up with witnesses to determine the circumstances of the incident.
