If there’s one thing that we can all agree on, it’s that Canadians love coffee.
En route to work, halfway through your day, or even after dinner, coffee always sounds like a good idea. And when you can get a cup for free, it really is the best feeling in the world.
One thing Canadians don’t enjoy is paying their bills, especially when you’ve got multiple accounts and you continuously forget your passwords. It’s a real adult struggle. With the Paytm Canada app, it doesn’t have to be that hard.
The Paytm Canada app is celebrating its two-year anniversary this month, and it makes the act of paying bills feel rewarding, because you can do it all through one single app on your smartphone. What makes this app different from your basic organizational app, or password manager is that you get rewards (like a FREE cup of coffee) just for paying your bills.
It’s like getting a gold star for being a functioning adult, and we could all use a bit of that love and affection right now.
Here’s how it works: for every transaction that you make with the app, you collect Paytm Points; 1 Paytm Point = $1 spent paying a bill or purchasing an e-gift card.
As soon as you’ve collected a minimum of 10,000 Paytm Points, you can redeem them for a free $10 e-gift card for brands like Uber, Starbucks, Cineplex, Winners, Ultimate Dining and many more. Or, choose to redeem your Paytm Points for discounted e-gift cards. The choice is yours to decide how you want to treat yourself!
From March 18 to April 18, every Paytm customer will collect 5x Bonus Paytm Points when they use the Paym Canada app to make a credit card bill payment of at least $1,000. These Bonus Points will be added on top of your regular Paytm Points earned (T&C’s apply).
When it comes to making payments via Paytm, you’ve got the option to pay by Visa Debit, Mastercard, American Express, via your bank account, or with Paytm Cash. You won’t have to pay additional fees when you use most of these payment methods, so you can choose the option that works best for you via the Paytm Canada app.
Since its inception, Paytm has grown substantially and the company has even had to move into a much bigger office space in Toronto. They’ve also invested more than $50 million to grow their operations over the next decade.
Now with Paytm, you can collect bonus Paytm Points when you bundle your bills and you can unlock up to 1,500 bonus Paytm Points per month for paying three and/or five different bills, of at least $25 per month.
