Win $1,000 cash (and free parking) if you solve Vancouver-inspired riddles

Ohh parking. Even if you’re the nicest person in the world, you’ve definitely experienced “moments” while trying to find parking in Vancouver. Then when you do, you realize that you’ve got no coins for the meter (cue emoji with hands covering eyes).

Thankfully, you don’t have to deal with this stress when you’ve got mobile payments app, PayByPhone. It lets you pay for parking electronically in seconds and even sends you reminders prior to your time expiring so you can extend your parking if you want to.

It literally makes paying for parking easy and convenient, and you can use it for on-street parking across Vancouver and in Diamond Parking lot locations. As part of their partnership with Diamond Parking, PayByPhone is giving you the chance of winning free parking and $1,000 cash.

But they’re not going to hand it to you in some basic, unexciting way. Instead, they want you to take part in a scavenger hunt (with a twist). If you’re a MindTrap enthusiast who’s passionate about solving puzzles, you’ll be happy to know that this game will have you unravelling riddles of mystery.

The scavenger hunt

On Thursday, July 19 and July 26, a new riddle will be released for you to solve. The riddle alludes to a building, landmark, or street corner in the city of Vancouver which is near (within walking distance) a Diamond Parking location.

Every time that someone correctly solves a riddle, they will be entered to win $1,000. The first person who solves the riddle each week will win a month of free parking at a Diamond Parking location of their choice.

How you can play

  2. Solve the riddle.
