Please note: As recommended by BC’s provincial health officials, if you choose to participate in events or leisure activities outside of your home, please adhere to COVID-19 health and safety measures, including proper physical distancing and frequent hand-washing. If you are sick, please stay home.
You can take a physically distanced stroll through a puppy-filled pumpkin patch on Sunday.
The PawSwap app finds dog-friendly events, activities, and businesses so you don’t have to leave your furry friend home alone.
The “Pumpkin Patch Edition” is the fifth iteration of their event series, according to a press release, and promises “a morning full of fall fun for dog owners and dog lovers.”

Attendees and their four-legged friends will meet at the front entrance of Maan Farms before heading into the pumpkin patch for some physically distanced frolicking. A professional photographer will be on hand to capture all the fall fun.
Guests will also receive a goodie bag full of pup-friendly surprises from local companies.
Knowing that the COVID-19 pandemic would change this year’s Halloween festivities, PawSwap organized the pumpkin promenade to celebrate the season, said Melanie Englmaier, PawSwap’s Event Planning and Community Coordinator.
“The crisp air, fallen leaves and vibrant fall colours everywhere make this such a great time to go for walks outside, especially as so many of us have been stuck inside at home during these difficult times,” said Englmaier. “This really is the perfect fall activity for both you and your pup on a Sunday morning.”
