Paul Bissonnette sent to hospital after six men attacked him

Paul Bissonnette was hospitalized Sunday night after he was assaulted by six men in Arizona, according to the Scottsdale Police Department.
The incident occurred at Houston’s restaurant in Scottsdale and the men who attacked the popular NHL analyst have been arrested.
“There was an altercation inside the restaurant with six adult men and the management,” Scottsdale Police Department sergeant Allison Sempsis told Daily Hive. “Reportedly, Paul Bissonnette tried to help management calm the men and get them to leave. The situation escalated to the men assaulting Paul Bissonnette both inside and outside of the restaurant.”
“Police units responded quickly after it was reported and, after a thorough investigation, arrested six men for their involvement. EMS was called to the scene to evaluate Paul’s injuries from the assault, and he was transported to the hospital for further evaluation.”
Sempsis didn’t comment on the nature of the 39-year-old’s injuries except to say that they were “believed to be non-life-threatening.”
The six suspects have been arrested and booked and now face charges for assault and disorderly conduct.
