At least 30 vehicles were damaged in a crash on the Pattullo Bridge deck on Thursday evening.
The incident occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. when a dark red sedan driving on the bridge towards New Westminster from Surrey crossed the median and crashed into pilon dividers, Global News reports. The car came to a full stop when it crashed into a concrete divider.
Nobody was seriously injured, but the crash caused a complete closure of the bridge until 9 p.m. One individual was arrested at the scene for suspected impaired driving.
Approximately 67,000 and 3,400 trucks use the four-lane crossing on a daily basis.
