Patrick Jolicoeur wins public vote in public transit busking competition

Thousands of votes have been casted over the last two weeks to determine who will receive the eighth and final busker license for 2014.

Patrick Jolicoeur will be the eighth and final public transit busker license holder after receiving 3,913 votes or 34 per cent of the total vote – the most of the four final candidates in the running. A total of 11,365 votes were cast in this public vote.

TransLink’s eight new buskers will be permitted to perform at some of the region’s busiest SkyTrain stations beginning in January.
