Patio Lunch in Vancouver: CinCin

Dec 19 2017, 3:25 pm

CinCin’s patio is an exceptional place in Vancouver to enjoy fine Italian food on a summer day. Located near Robson and Bute in central downtown, CinCin is convenient  to drop by for a quick power lunch or after some indulgent shopping nearby. Better yet, CinCin has just been crowned Silver for Best Upscale Italian by the Vancouver Magazine 2013 Restaurant Awards! Recently, CinCin just announced their 30-minute guarantee for weekday lunches, which is certainly good news to those who want to fit an upscale lunch into their hour long break. Speed, service and some of our city’s most delicious Italian food is all here!

CinCin’s patio offers spectacular views of Robson Street and Vancouver’s tall downtown business buildings.

The Wood-Fired Pizza at CinCin is their must-try item. These thin-crust pizzas are baked in CinCin’s wood-grilled oven that refrains from using any unnatural gases. Best of all, they’re baked fairly quickly and do not interfere with the 30-minute lunch guarantee. The Funghi Pizza ($18.50) here is a fantastic choice that features wild mushrooms, salami and tomatoes.

Pastas at CinCin are the perfect size for lunch. The penne alla carbonara ($16.50) is an easy favourite that features a penne pasta with guanciale, parmesan and black pepper.

For a fancier Italian lunch, the anatra croccante ($19.50) is certainly a satisfying choice. It features a crispy slow cooked duck, brocollini with soffritto, farro with root vegetables and duck succo – lunch doesn’t get much better than this!

The Italian desserts at CinCin can turn anyone’s day around. The classic Tiramisu ($12) here is utmost decadent and it features an artistic display, serving as a feast for both the taste buds and the eyes.

If you want to stay away from chocolate, the torta invernale di mele ($12.50) is a fruity dessert that features a warm gala apple cake with caramel, cinnamon and a scoop of vanilla gelato. Also very delicious!

Thank you for reading and see you all at my next food adventure!
