To celebrate our incredible city, OMG Social Media started the initiative, #DiscoverVanBiz, to encourage Vancouverites to spotlight local businesses. We know how important awareness is to business success.
From photos of Earnest Ice Cream to fun photo booth shots with Butter Studios, having the community share local favourites is one of the best ways to support and give back to these businesses. With many that have yet to be widely discovered, #DiscoverVanBiz has the goal to give the spotlight to these unique businesses.
For every time you buy a cup of coffee at that coffee shop down the block, for every unique piece of clothing bought in a local boutique shop, or any other local favourites that Vancouver has to offer, Vancouverites can participate in the campaign by using the hashtag #DiscoverVanBiz in all social media posts. Give back and support your favourite local businesses and continue to discover more by following #DiscoverVanBiz.
