Owl be seeing you at Parliament this weekend

Have you ever been to Gastown’s Parliament Interiors and thought “wow, they’ve got a lot of owl-inspired products in their store?” There’s jewellery, candles, art, figurines, and on October 24, there will even be real owls!

Vancouver’s Modern Home Furniture and Contemporary Home Decor Store has once again partnered with O.W.L. Orphaned Wildlife Rehabilitation Society, who will be bringing some of these beautiful birds of prey to their Gastown store.

The “Parliament” of live owls will be swooping into Parliament Interiors on Saturday, October 24, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. As well as seeing these magnificent birds, you can also talk to handlers from O.W.L., as the non-profit organization‘s volunteers will be on hand to help educate shoppers about the rehabilitation and release of injured and orphaned owls. Additionally, Parliament will also be donating a portion of the sale of any owl-inspired item to O.W.L. Orphaned Wildlife Rehabilitation Society.

So, whether you want to pick up some new decor for your apartment, learn more about these majestic birds, or simply see how good your Harry Potter Halloween costume looks next to a real live owl; make sure you stop by. Trust us, it’s going to be a hoot.
