The Macallan Amber is a rich, fruity whisky with a complex taste profile.


The Appetizer: Warm Chevre Salad

The creaminess of the goat cheese pairs perfectly with the smooth subtle vanilla notes found in The Macallan Amber. The spiciness of The Macallan Amber is offset by the sweet red onion marmalade while the bitter greens of the salad are complemented by fresh green apple and cinnamon found on the palate while enjoying The Macallan Amber.

The Main: Quail Ragout 

Quail is lean with a delicate texture that boasts nutty notes which complements the floral and oak tastes found in The Macallan Amber. Macallan Amber’s spicy ginger and sultana taste is mellowed by the sweetness of baby carrots and texture of the oven roasted gnocchi.

The Dessert: Brioche Date Pudding

Amber boasts many fruit flavours like raisins and apples, whose fruity flavour shines through in the Brioche date pudding. The ginger and toffee flavours of The Macallan Amber are brought in subtly through the candied ginger crema, as a perfect lingering finish to a perfect pairing.
