I walked by the Paint Your Faith mural the other day and the work was pretty much done. Today at 10 am there will be a press event and an unveiling of the mural at 55-57 W. Hastings Street. This initiative is brought to you by Wondercafe.ca and First United Church.
The Paint Your Faith project will be hitting the city of Vancouver with a 13’ x 130’ mural at 55-57 W. Hastings Street, across from the Woodwards Building.
This time around, the four internationally acclaimed aerosol artists working as a collective to express their unique and unified interpretation of faith will be Faith47 from South Africa, Titi Freak from Brazil, Peeta from Italy and Vancouver’s own Indigo. For seven days, these artists will take a blank wall and turn it into their own personal canvas, creating a piece of art that will change the Vancouver landscape and open discourse for what faith, spirituality and art is really about.
