The Pacific Centre mall expansion opened its doors at noon today, providing shoppers in downtown Vancouver with a major increase in options.
The new underground wing beneath the Nordstrom building, with a new additional entrance on Granville and Robson, houses several world-renowned retailers that are now part of the Pacific Centre shopping experience.
The project has been three years in the making and includes the following new brands:
- AllSaints
- Weekend MaxMara
- Ted Baker London
- BOSS Store
- kate spade new york
- Pandora
- TUMI
- B2
The Ted Baker and AllSaints stores at Pacific Centre are the first locations for the brands in the Metro Vancouver region.
A total of eight retailers are currently open as part of the expansion, though a Disney store, Microsoft, Rockport and Abercrombie & Finch will be added to the expansion at a later date.
In September, Nordstrom will also be opening a three-level flagship store.
Holt Renfrew, which is housed in Pacific Centre’s north end, is expanding its flagship from 140,000 square feet to approximately 180,000 square feet. The Vancouver location is one of the top preforming stores in Canada.
